Hi I am Valerie!!!
My Story
And exploring my passion as ValerieMatthewsOnline, I work with entrepreneurs to explore effective ways to promote their businesses using online and offline strategies. As part of our activities, we will select and implement strategies that will increase visibility, boost sales, generate more interest and attract responsive customers.
I’ve got
- 10+ years of sales and marketing experience from both sides of the counter ranging from defining product packages, arranging promotions, to customizing post-sales service deliveries,
- 100s of hours and 1,000s of dollars invested in internet marketing and online business prospecting,
- 10 years experience as a Life and Empowerment coach, and
- 20 years in the corporate environment where I learned
- Key factors when establishing customer rapport, and
- Time tested techniques for securing customer retention.
When I’m not brainstorming with entrepreneurs or designing sharp marketing strategies for innovative business owners,
I can be found cuddled in a soft chair watching “Grey’s Anatomy” or out in my backyard with my Kindle reading a good book. (I have been chastised on several occasions for publicly admitting that my Kindle is my most “valuable” material possession. (Take the keys to the car, just leave me my Kindle! )

- I was born in Germany,
- I graduated from a high school where the gender ratio was 20:1, male to female, and
- I spent the first 10 years of my professional career as a Mechanical Engineer designing computers.
- In the midst of my corporate tenure, my entrepreneurial ventures have included
- selling peanut brittle as a 9 year old in Maryland,
- co-editing a culturally responsive community newspaper in Colorado while in my 20s,
- marketing a line of urban t-shirts in my 30s, and
- investing in Georgia Real Estate in my 40s.
